Sez You

The experts keep on trying to determine
The Causes of Depression and Deflation;
They lay it to the Frenchman, or the German,
Or to almost any other Foreign Nation.

Economists are busy in discussion,
And no two can agree upon a Plan;
For some of them are all for going Russian
And others want to emulate Japan.

Professors go on learnedly professing;
They analyze and synthesize at length,
But it's nothing but a higher form of guessing.
And it doesn't give the market any strength.

For the Experts aren't so expert as they tell us,
And Economists are conning us as such,
And professors proffer stuff it's hard to sell us,
And the profit in the Prophets isn't much!
